A robocall saying that AT&T wanted to give me $532, and says that to collect the money I should go to www.myatt532.com and log in. Also said " at AT&T we care about you "... Yeah right, that’ll be the day ! I called AT&T to report what I believed to be a scam only to find that the AT&T call center was closed and that I should call back on the next business day. So much for caring. if they don't care why should I? Let them worry about the scam calls using their name.

Call from 1-800-922-2346 at 2:59 AM (PST)! What the hell! I figured someone needed bail or had died, but no it was just an 800 number. I sent the call to voice mail and after a few minutes I had a voice mail. It was a robocall, and the only part of the robot call that was recorded was "thank you and goodbye.". The voice was a woman with an accent (Caribbean or maybe West African).

It was really weird.. Went to my answering machine and some automated message said something like "you have a call waiting for you" and it started ringing and ringing and some woman picked up saying "hello? Hello?" And she stayed on the line and wouldn't hang up.. I had to go and turn off my answering machine.... It was strange.

I couldn't hear the name properly, but apparently all their advisors were busy and I got hold music for 5 mins. After getting lots of these phone calls, I told the person I'm not the decision maker as to our electricity company so to please stop calling me. He said he would but I kept getting calls. Then I found a blog comment that said to call 866-246-7196. I did and it was for a do not call request service for a small number of companies that call consumers. Just give the caller's phone number to verify it's on their list and the receiving phone number for the do not call list.
