I called them back and told them that this was their notice that all correspondence with me was to be in writing and if I received any other calls I would press charges, that I was already aware of their scam, and would not be tolerant. 12/13/2013	Same crap here! He called me in November and again today. He leaves messages claiming to be a chief of police and then answers IRS. When I asked him what he needed he said I need to speak to ....called me by name!! well my maiden name. I said what do you need b/c I'm not stupid enough to believe you are the IRS. He said "I need you for one night" I said excuse me? "I need you to have sex with me for one night" !!?? I said I'm going to report you to the police and do not call me phone again..he started to tell me that I couldn't call the police and at that point I hung up on him and am now going to block him from my carrier. 12/11/2013	I received a call from a guy with a thick Indian accent identifying himself is Adam Scott. Said he was calling from the IRS. Told me to "call him the very second I got the message" and "do not try to disregard this call". In fact, he told me to have my attorney call him. His tone was rather threatening. He never asked for me by my name. I actually did call the number after doing a quick Google search and finding out about the scam. The guy that answered also had an Indian accent. He greeted with "IRS". I notified him that I would be reporting them and that they hadn't fooled me with their ridiculous scam. He hung up on me without saying another word. I chuckled. 12/11/2013	I received TWO messages on my answering machine from this jerk. I too panicked but went on the computer immediately and googled this phone number and found this site. I am glad to see other people received this call too.....not that I'm glad....just feel better about the whole thing now that I've read your experiences which were exactly like mine. I initially panicked but did NOT return the call. I looked online to see if it was a scam and found this website.
