I have received the phone # of 438-8000453 several time
received call regarding "Credit Services"; promptly reported them on the www.donotcall.gov website. Recommend you all do this, only way of generating a legitimate complaint list someone may actually do something about.
Received two calls from this phone #. Didn't answer & caller did not leave voice message both times.
Just got a call to my BC number... googled it right away and found this, glad i didn't answer
This 317-401-8338 has been calling my cell and home phone for the last four months. No messages or voice come on the line. Do like I did -- NEVER answer it.
It seemed like it was some kind of telemarketer that only spoke spanish. So far, they have called me twice in the past year and it is starting to bug me a little
Claimed to be Verizon, get 130 off bill. I fell for it. They took over my phones within a week. Ran up my phone bill by calling Cuba.
Missed the call 10am EST.
This is a new scam the Telemarketers are using. You are supposed to be curious enough to call them back. If you do call them the Do Not Call list does not apply since it was you that made the call. They will try to sell you something and since you have made contact then they can call all they like.i texts them and said, YOU ARE A ASSHOLE,?. USER COSMO CRAMER
Zovi me brzo

This number WAS owned by Flutter Studios, a professional commercial photography studio in Seattle, from September 2013 until January 2014. The phone was cancelled by Flutter Studios due to poor service by the telecom provider. Flutter Studios no longer owns this number. Phone number: 206-258-8338 is now managed by INTERNATIONAL TELCOM, LTD. - W.
If you're using a smart phone, just install a call blocking app for for your device and set it to accept only calls from your contact list and your local area code. On my Android phone, I use an app called Call Control and it has solved the problem. Kind of a brute force approach, but until the CRTC and the Telcos do something about spoofed Caller ID's, it's the only way I found of retaining my sanity.
800-888-9616 is a spoofed number* for a scam - they want you to log on to a webstie that contains a virus that attempts to steal your ID and banking informaion. (I got such a call and instead of going to the website, I called Verizon customer service directly - I am no longer a Verizon customer so knew something was bogus - - and they told me what was going on.)*Spoofed calls. For ten cents a call, you can spoof almost any number except a hospital or First Responder. The FCC says these are "harmless prank calls" and refuses to do anything about it. The purveyors of this spoofing service are apparently "above the law" and claim no responsibility for the actions of their "clients" - at one time I received a spoofed call where the number being spoofed was actualy a very large telemarketing firm in my city. I called them and asked about the calls and they essentially repeated what the FCC said - only until some moron spoofs a congessman's phone number will they continue to get away with it. Once some congress critter becomes the victim you can bet the FCC will change policy and go after these scum bags.
hang up call
Got a unsolicited call from them number. I never gave them my number and never asked them to call me but they still did.
It was really weird.. Went to my answering machine and some automated message said something like "you have a call waiting for you" and it started ringing and ringing and some woman picked up saying "hello? Hello?" And she stayed on the line and wouldn't hang up.. I had to go and turn off my answering machine.... It was strange.
Called 1/6/2014. Didn't answer. Has to be a telemarketer since I'm not located in the US and only 3 people know my number.

Consumer lifestyles harry-foreign accent, asking for assistance with a survey, said that I had used my details online recently. Then quoted an address that I lived at briefly 10 years ago. I told him that that wasn't recent information and asked to be removed from their list. He hung up before I finished my sentence.
Deux appels en seulement 3hrs en provenance du 1-438-800-0456. Un enregistrement en anglais que je n'ai pas écouté complètement et pas trop compris. Je trouve ça étrange...
Hi, I'm from the PH. I received calls from this number several times already. They told me that they're helping me to process my application for Canadian visa which coincidently, I'm really applying for such. Please advise if this is a scam or what.
They called me and left a voice mail for me to call them back with a special code of #635. There was no name listed on the phone, just the incoming phone number. I'm on the DNC, so how do they keep getting my number?
Recordings about immigration to US, Canada, Australia
FRAUD ARTISTS. BOILER ROOM OPERATION. FRAUD.
Hoax call possible I.D scam
recording for credit cards which i don't have. thats why its a recording cause i'm tierd of telling them off assholes !
Call from 1-800-922-2346 at 2:59 AM (PST)! What the hell! I figured someone needed bail or had died, but no it was just an 800 number. I sent the call to voice mail and after a few minutes I had a voice mail. It was a robocall, and the only part of the robot call that was recorded was "thank you and goodbye.". The voice was a woman with an accent (Caribbean or maybe West African).
Hi young women of MontrealThere is a handsome technician in communication (the one who installs your new telephone line at home). He is ~6 foot tall. He is a rapist and a serial killer. His mother is French Canadian and his father is Greek. If you receive calls without any speaking (or with a false accent from India), be careful, you are his next victim. The day, he will ring at your door, DO NOT OPEN THE DOOR. Do not use your phone; you will not have the line because he might disconnect it. Use your cell.maman-lise firstname.lastname@example.orgP.S. Those calls have nothing to do with your credit or telemarketing. He stands in communications room, connects his phone and uses the line 438-800-0456 or others lines in Montreal, one in Toronto or one in Florida.
This no. Called me & claim to be working under government programme. And its company is called australia gsm. They asked me whether i have credit card or not. When i said yes, they insist that in order to know whether i eligible to work in australia i need to make a payment of $835 australia dollar. Later, asked for the first 6 digit of my credit card. Two people talked to me. First person claim that her name is kelly johnson. I realize it was a scam after they persistently asked that i go through with the process immediately. After 30 minute, i hang up.
just had this number call me and there was no-one on the other end of the phone not even a background noise very unnerving and frighting
Called me a minute ago and said it was the FBI wanting to place a security system in my home...WTH?!No further comment...this is shady stuff though.
Received call from this number, no message however so I didn't ring them back. Marketing call most likely, not interested.
I received a phonecall from this number on my mobile phone this evening - Number showed as New York. It was a female on the phone and she asked for me by name - I did not confirm name but asked who was calling 3 times and she then hung up. It sounded like a call centre in the background. I have blocked this number.
Just answered and there was no response.Too many Phanthom calls.BUZZ OFF
Asked if I wanted to complete a survey to receive a Bahamas cruise. I did not, I selected the option to have my number removed, we'll see it works.
They keep calling my cell number... I am assuming some joker pulled my number out of their head and wrote it down instead of their own so they wouldn't get the harassing calls.
Nuissance call. I went through the survey and finally spoke to someone. But the new tactic is that the person on the other end doesn't deviate from their script. If you ask them a question or try to interrupt them they will just repeat themselves. They won't let you ask to be taken off the calling list.If you call back the number they give an option to be removed from the list. We will see if that works. If not, complain to the feds.
Pick up and they, it never answers. Clearly wants your answering machine to leave some d_ck message. Added to my block list.
I often have this number call my cell. I have never answered it.
From all these comments, I see it's about lowering credit card interest rates or some crap like that. I never answer a call from a number I don't recognize anyways. They can call till they are blue in the face for all I care! What I find hilarious if this call was about credit card interest rates, I don't even have a credit card nor am I interested in getting one so how can you lower something that doesn't exist?!?!?!? So good luck trying to reach me to "lower my rate", hahaha! Keep on callin ya'll, I'll keep not answering :) Talk to the voice mail fools!
Called and left a blank voicemail. called back later and was sent to a automated system that didn't even mention a company name...Seems off. other sites say this number has been calling to try to scam people.
Just had 20 min of calling, every 30s, so that basically I couldn't use my phone. On auto-repeat. Congrats, you've won, etc. Brutal. Called Telus, claimed they couldn't do anything about it. In the modern era of the internet, this is bullshit.
This number CALLED AGAIN today, LESS THAN 24 hours after the first one. We had it BLOCKED after the first call, so all they got was a DISCONNECT sound! HA!I suspect this number is connected to similar FAKE, PHONY, UNREGISTERED "Veterans' Charity" calls (SCAMS) from301-880-4567 Last called 1/6/14240-920-0671 Last called 12/19/13 and540-765-2514 Last called 12/17/13.ALL have been BLOCKED, so they just have to keep changing their number and trying to harass us again!ALL have been REPORTED to the DNC List, too.
I've been called on this number several times on 22 July 2014.... Silence then a hang up...
Did you sign up for Obamacare, The site is not a secure site.

Not sure if 1&1 sales, or a attacker... They got personal information from me and asked for billing information. I called 1&1 and they told me they didn't know the number and it wasn't theirs.
