I didn’t answer the caller. The caller left no message. When I called back the call goes it’s answered by some background music. I didn’t wait to see if my call was going to be transferred to another country or what! This looks, sound and smells like a SCAM / ILLEGAL operation.

Call from 1-800-922-2346 at 2:59 AM (PST)! What the hell! I figured someone needed bail or had died, but no it was just an 800 number. I sent the call to voice mail and after a few minutes I had a voice mail. It was a robocall, and the only part of the robot call that was recorded was "thank you and goodbye.". The voice was a woman with an accent (Caribbean or maybe West African).

This phone number person calls u. You can answer the phone if u want. But he sends text first saying u have to pay 2000 dollar in couple hrs. Or else I will start killing your family members. He even knows ur name and address. Thats the worst part.. Also I spoke to an officer on in Maplewood minnesaota. He said don't worry. It's just a scam. If you're using a smart phone, just install a call blocking app for for your device and set it to accept only calls from your contact list and your local area code. On my Android phone, I use an app called Call Control and it has solved the problem. Kind of a brute force approach, but until the CRTC and the Telcos do something about spoofed Caller ID's, it's the only way I found of retaining my sanity.
