Lake Cowichan RCMP says its non-emergency phone number appears to have been spoofed and used to make unsolicited calls.
The detachment has received calls from people saying they were called from the number — 250-749-6668 — but when the phone is answered the caller hangs up. No message is left in the event of a missed call.

Un-identified caller on behalf of AT&T, claiming debt owed in excess of $400. -threatening lawsuit. For the record, AT&T broke FOUR contract price guarantees in 2016, after a TWELVE-year record of always on-time payments.
The company overcharged and refused to issue a credit, when confronted. This is not an isolated case; AT&T has a rather extensive record of this activity.

this is a scammer. they claimed to work for endowment for the humanities and help with rents and mortgages. they ask you to fill out a form to request financial help, a grant. this includes personal info as you would if requesting a loan. after you give it to them, they demand you send them 500 dollar gift card or they will "destroy your life". This was from a web page on facebook. Now they are calling me at all hours of the night to harrass me. number comes from new york.
